Smart Systems Integration
This is the main cluster of projects in this family. The broad scope of SSI covers several subtopics, from the MEMS/NEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical and Nano- Electro-Mechanical systems), Heterogeneous Technologies Integration, Autonomous Smart Systems, Smart Systems for Data Storage, Smart Systems for Energy Storage, Internet of Smart Things and Smart Systems for Displays and Visualization. Given the very specific nature of their targets or common challenges some projects stand out from this cluster to form the other five topical project clusters.
