Special Session at PIMRC '08 on
Cooperating Objects and Cooperation in Wireless Sensor Networks
18 September 2008, Cannes, France
- Organizer:
- Jorge Pereira (European Commission, Belgium)
- Abstract:
- Cooperating objects, due to their versatility and adaptability, are seen as a major source of sensing data as well as effective and efficient actuators. The main issue is how to have access to, and make available, sensing information at the right time (and the right price) to the right people/processes. The next step is then to move from cooperative sensing to cooperative actuation.
