The FET Flagship Pilots Midterm Conference

Following discussions between the Commission representatives, the Scientific Counsellor of the Polish Representation to the EU and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, both universities in Warsaw have agreed at presidential level to support the organisation of this conference that lasted for 2 days, 24th and 25th November 2011.

The Future Emerging Technologies (FET) scheme as part of the DG INFSO ICT programme is in the process of setting up the FET Flagship Initiatives, as laid down in the Communication 'Moving the ICT frontiers – a strategy of research on future and emerging technologies in Europe’ (COM (2009) 184) and endorsed by the 04/12/2009 Conclusions of the Competitiveness Council of the European Union.
