Information Day: ICT PSP CIP - Objective 5.1 on Cyber security
(Call 6 of the ICT Policy Support Programme of the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme)
Brussels (Charlemagne), 17 February 2012 (9.30-14.30)
The Information Day will present the Objective 5.1: Cyber security of ICT PSP CIP work programme for 2012, which focuses on the following two items:
- a) Fighting botnets (Pilot B)
- b) Community building for information sharing and effective responses to cyber threats (Thematic Network)

Detailed information on the content of the objective, the types of projects and the available funding is provided in the draft work programme (see http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/activities/ict_psp/index_en.htm, pp.44-46 ). The corresponding Call for Proposals would be opened from 1 February to 15 May 2012 (pending to the formal approval of the Work programme 2012 by the Commission).
The intention of this infoday is to present in a first part the Workprogramme on this particular objective and put it into context of the European Commission policies. The second part of the infoday will be dedicated to discussions and networking between the participants interested in participating in the call.
