Network of National Contact Points to help you

For advice and individual assistance regarding the preparation of FP7 proposals, the Commission provides a network of National Contact Points (NCPs) in all Member States and Associated Countries. Since NCPs are appointed for each of the FP7 areas, when seeking support you should first consider contacting the NCPs appointed for Science in Society. Specialised NCPs are also available for financial and legal issues. Furthermore, you can search the entire Network of National Contact Points for NCPs from any FP7 area or country.

Thematic NCP Networks

The network of National Contact Points is divided into 18 thematic networks.
These correspond to themes found in FP7.

Enquiry Service

The "Enquiry Service" provided by the Europe Direct Contact Centre allows you to submit questions about any aspect of European research in general and the EU Research Framework Programmes in particular. Your enquiry will be logged in a database to ensure that you get a response as quickly as possible and then passed through to the relevant department for expert handling. This service replaces the former traditional Help Desk email service.

Please note that the service will not provide answers related to forgotten passwords (for experts, proposals, etc.), the technical aspects of proposal submission, or IT problems (there is a specific help via the submission system (EPSS) pages). Any enquiries related to call for proposals should be submitted at least 2 weeks before the call deadlines.

Support for on-line submission

The support for on-line submission of proposals is provided via the online submission system (EPSS) pages. For all questions related to getting support, you can also refer to the general FP7 "Get Support" service.
