Participating in the Growth Programme's 3rd periodic call

[Call Identifier: Growth June 2000]

  • The third periodic call for proposals, published in the Official Journal on June 6, 2000 - deadline: 29 September 2000 , invites submission of proposals for RTD, demonstration and combined projects, Thematic Networks and Concerted Actions as well as specific Accompanying measures for Key Actions 2. INCO Bursaries (for young researchers from developing Countries) are also covered by this call.

  • The call addresses the research objectives and priorities described in the Growth Workprogramme 2000 (edition December 1999). The table below presents the research priorities, the indicative budget and the types of actions covered by the 3rd call:

Thematic Networks and Concerted Actions proposals may address ALL objectives covered in the Workprogramme 2000 (except Support for research infrastructures).

In the case of KA1, Thematic Networks and Concerted Action proposals may address ANY of the Targeted Research Actions.

  • KA2 "Sustainable mobility and Intermodality" research tasks are detailed in the Additional Information Document downloadable from the call page on CORDIS. The first edition of this document was published in December 1999. With the launching of the call, a revised edition with minor changes in a limited number of tasks is now available.

  • As far as KA1 is concerned, only TRA 1.5 "products" is open for RTD demonstration and combined projects. All TRAs are however open for Thematic Network and Concerted Action proposals.

  • KA3, KA4 and Measurement & Testing (except Support for Research Infrastructures) are only open for Thematic Network and Concerted Action proposals addressing any of their research priorities.
  • The Pre-proposal Check is now available for RTD, demonstration and combined projects and for KA2 Accompanying Measures specifically covered by the periodic call. Forms and guidance notes are available in the Growth pages on CORDIS.
    This service remains open until September 1, 2000.

Reminder: Actions implemented through the continuous submission scheme (open call of 16.03.1999) are still open .
These actions consist of: Growth Accompanying Measures, Expressions of Interest for the needs of research and in support for research infrastructures (EoIs for the needs), SME measures and Marie Curie Fellowships.
