My Account

The My Account application allows users to manage their central account information and to perform the tasks listed below.

Do I need to register as a CORDIS user?

You only need to register as a CORDIS user if you want to use the following services, which have their own profile information:

Notifier – to receive email notifications on new CORDIS content

Wire – to publish your own news and events

Partners – to create your profile and partnership requests and to network with other researchers. You can search for Partners without needing to register.

Register as a new user

Registration follows these steps:

Step 1 - You must provide the following details: username, first name, last name, email address and language preference

Step 2 - You will receive an email asking you to activate your account. This ensures that your account has a valid email address.

Step 3 - Follow the link in the email to activate your new account and to provide a password

Your username and email address must be unique within the CORDIS user database.

You have 90 minutes to activate your account. Accounts that are not activated within this time period are deleted (and the username and email address can be used again).

Your account details and service profile information are subject to the CORDIS privacy notice and user management policies .

Change your password

Signed-in users can use MyAccount to update their password. You must provide your current password and your new password.

Passwords:

- can only contain alphanumeric characters plus the following characters:      = - _ . , : ; ? # % $ { } ( ) [ ] / \

- must be at least 6 characters long

- must contain 2 digits

Reset your password

If you have forgotten your password, you may request to set a new password:

Step 1 - Enter your username

Step 2 - You will receive an email with a link to reset your password

Step 3 - Follow the link and enter a new password for your account

If you have any problems, please contact the CORDIS Helpdesk .

Update your account

All of your account details can be updated except for your username.

If you change your email address, you will receive an email to validate the new email address.  If you do not follow the link in the email, your email address will remain unchanged.

Delete your account

This operation can only be done by CORDIS. Please contact the CORDIS Helpdesk .
