Opportunities for organisations – Individual Fellowships

For more information see Guide for Proposers

  • Organisations can participate in the three individual type fellowships (category 30 for post-doctoral level, category R for return fellowships and category 40 for experienced researchers) by acting as the host organisation for a researcher. For these three fellowships, applications are led by the researcher with the input of the host organisation.

  • Experienced researcher fellowships offer a specific option for researchers from industry to spend time in academia and vice versa.

  • For more information see the Guide for Proposers for Individual Fellowships.

What are the requirements for organisations?

  • Host organisations must be legal entities established, or international organisations located, in a Member or Associated State. For details of Associated States go to: /fp5/src/3rdcountries.htm

  • Host organisations must be active in research and have the means (including necessary equipment and capacity for management) of ensuring the implementation of the proposed project. The research must be undertaken in a Member or Associated State.

  • For return fellowships: host organisations must be located in a less-favoured region in the country of the nationality of the applicant fellow.
