Marie Curie Fellowships

What are the requirements for fellows?

    Nationality

    All fellows must be nationals of an EU Member or Associated State, or have resided in the EU for at least five years immediately prior to their selection by the company.

Mobility

    They must not undertake their fellowship in the country of their nationality or recent centre of activity. Nationals from an Associated State can only carry out their fellowship in a Member State.

    Age

At the time of selection the fellow must be 35 years old or less.

Research Experience

    Researchers must have a doctoral degree or at least four years of full-time research experience at postgraduate level other than doctoral studies.

What is the duration?

12 to 24 months

What is the estimated salary?

Fellows will receive the following:

Community contributions for Marie Curie Individual Fellowships

Fellowship scheme Allowance for fellow (euro/fellow-month) Mobility allowance (euro/fellow-month) Contribution to travel costs (euro/fellow-month) Contribution to research and management costs (euro/fellow-month)
Individual (category 30) References rates 400 Fixed rate (see Guide for Proposers) 900 (1200)*

* 1200 euro/month for experimental/laboratory based projects.
