What are the requirements for fellows?

- Previous Marie Curie post-doctoral fellowships

Applicants must have completed 24 months of a Marie Curie individual fellowship (category 30) under the Fifth Framework Programme, or a Marie Curie Research Training Grant (category 30) under the Fourth Framework Programme. Participation in other Community activities such as TMR Networks or Framework RTD projects does not qualify for a Return Fellowship.

Applicants must have the nationality of the country to which they wish to return.

- Link with a less-favoured region

Applicants must have a link with a less-favoured region within the country of the host institution. This must be either through birth or residence for at least four years in the last ten years prior to the relevant deadline for submission of proposals. A list of eligible less-favoured regions is available in the Guide for Proposers for Marie Curie Individual Fellowships.

Applications may be submitted from 12 months before the end of the initial category 30 fellowship.
