Download Conference Proceedings: Word - PDF

Brussels, 23, 24 November 2000

Centre Albert Borschette , 36 rue Froissard, 1040 Brussels

Rationale

A n° of projects have been funded through TSER Programme on the actual role and new prospects of innovation and education and training policies to promote the appropriate environment for SME’s at local level. These projects addressed different levels of analysis:

  • A group of projects investigates the organisation of the linkages between education systems, namely universities, and the private sector.
  • A second group of projects analyses the networking and clustering activities of SME’s at regional and local level.
  • A third group of projects tries to identify the different factors influencing the innovative capacity and competitiveness of firms at local level.

Objectives

The aim of this Workshop is to extract from several TSER Projects key results that could be useful for policy. Researchers and key Policy makers are invited to participate and to establish dialogue around the themes of the Workshop.
