FP7 Third Country Agreements

The Science and Technology Agreement associating respectively Israel and Switzerland to FP7 are expected to be applied provisionally as of 1.1.2007 and proposers are hereby informed that subject to the accomplishment of the decision-making procedure, legal entities established in respectively Israel and Switzerland will be able to receive Community contributions for contracts signed after this date.

With respect to the participation of Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein, Article 1 of Protocol 31 of the EEA agreement is expected to be amended by a decision of the EEA Joint Committee extending the association of these countries to FP 7. Proposers are herby informed that subject to the accomplishment of this decision making procedure, legal entities established in respectively Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein will be able to receive Community contributions for contracts signed after 1 January 2007 .

The Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) associating respectively Turkey, Croatia and Serbia to FP7 are expected to enter into force as of 1.1.200 7. Proposers are hereby informed that subject to the satisfactory conclusion of the respective internal procedures and the entry into force of the relevant MoUs, legal entities established in respectively Turkish, Croatian and Serbia will be able to receive Community contributions for contracts signed after this date.
