This section contains information on the ACTS programme, its place in the European Fourth Framework Programme, and on its research areas, as well as a more detailed overview.

ACTS Concertation: Means for Achieving Programme Results

Concertation is a key process which ensures that the value of the ACTS programme as a whole exceeds that of the individual projects. The Concertation process has got two main components, i.e. the Domains and Chains.

ACTS Horizontal Projects play a special role in ACTS.

ACTS related European Programmes are:
  • ESPRIT
  • Info2000
  • TAP - Telematics Applications Programme
