ARTEMIS Executive Board

Artemis logo The Executive Board is a smaller executive and operational representation of the Steering Board. The Executive Board was formerly known as the Core Group.

The Executive Board had a meeting with Commissioner Vivianne Reding to present the role of Embedded Systems in society and the economy.

Executive board members meet with other technology platforms, Brussels, 18th April 2005

The relationship between Artemis and other technology platforms was initially discussed in the January meeting and followed up by the Steering Board meeting in March where it was decided to have a meeting with other related technology platforms: ACARE (Air Transport), ETRAC (Road Transport), Eniac (Nanoelectronics), NEMS (media), eMobility (mobile communications). The idea is to identify and clarify any overlaps and exploit synergies where appropriate.

The first Executive Board meeting included presentations from various Working Groups, looked at progress on the Strategic Research Agenda and discussed the Artemis Conference at the end of June.

Core Group Meeting, Brussels, 21 September 2004

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the Strategic Research Agenda and the forthcoming IST 2004 Event on 17 Nov 2004 in The Hague which includes a session and preparation of the next Steering Board meeting .
