Next Generation Networks
Objectives
This action was designed to address the specific challenges of the next generation of networking technologies. This area is characterised by new business models, new actors in the economic and technology arenas, new markets and new technologies. The Next Generation Network cluster is composed of R&D projects, drawn from across the IST programme, and a specific Thematic Network project called NGN-Initiative. This network is open for membership to all academic and industrial research actors having an interest in next generation networking technologies.
