Our mission
The mission of the ICT for Sustainable Growth Unit is to facilitate research and development in the areas of ICT-enabled environmental and natural resources management, including energy efficiency, disaster reduction and emergency response, as a contribution to the EU Sustainable Development Strategy and the EU Lisbon Strategy, making Europe the most competitive knowledge-based economy by 2010.
