This report provides representative examples whose aim is to demonstrate the impact of FET-OPEN in a number of complementary dimensions. Indeed, this scheme proved to be particularly successful in: opening new possibilities, setting the agenda for future research programmes, providing/exploring alternative technology solutions for industry, and confirming the path-finding role that FET has in IST.
