Project website. - The final version of the Informal Study Group Value Proposition for Enterprise Interoperability report "Unleashing the Potential of the European Knowledge Economy" is now available here. The following annexes constitute an integral part of this report but will not be printed.

Cluster: Enterprise Interoperability
Welcome to the Enterprise Interoperability Research Domain. Our community is composed of FP6 funded projects as well as experts and stakeholders from all Europe working in the area of interoperability applicable to enterprises.
This section aims at providing all available information related to our activities. It will be regularly updated, please bookmark it. Note also that a new web site will be created under the new Framework Programme 7 (FP7) where all past information and events will be archived. We will inform our community as soon as this web site is up and running.

Our cluster in an nutshell:
- 12 FP6 & FP7 projects (2 IP, 1 NoE and 9 STREPS)
- Vision and research objectives defined in a Research Roadmap (published here in July 2006), currently undergoing revision
- A community of 300 stakeholders (users, providers, intermediaries, public authorities, standards organisations, the research community, ...)
- Strong focus on cross-domains cooperation (Web semantics, web content technologies, grids, collaborative environments, service oriented architectures, eGovernment, etc)
- Natural link with standardisation (CEN's eBIF, ICT Standardisation Study) and EU Enterprise policy. Cooperation with the DG IT and the IDABC's EIF
- Supported by two project officers: Jorge Grazina and Cristina Martinez (head of cluster)
- A clearly identified value proposition for the domain (v2 of the VPEI report available here)
