Ten-Telecom/eTen C-MONITOR A Cost-Effective Solution for Personalized Patient Compliance Monitoring. The project aims to provide the market validation for monitoring non-hospitalized patients through a telecommunications platform. Physicians will check patients' compliance to therapy and patients will organize daily therapeutic activities. Ten-Telecom/eTen DIADEM Diabetes Disease Management. DIADEM?s overall objective is to establish Diabetes Disease Management Services at European level as a platform for improved patient care and a more effective health care delivery. This will combine the efforts of GPs, medical reference centres, insurer, support centre and IT industry to serve the diabetic patients towards a better long-term management of their disease. Secure, transparent and shared access to patient-related data are at the core of the service. Ten-Telecom/eTen GALENOS Generic Advanced Low-cost European Network Over Satellite .Validation of a satellite communications network able to support a wide range of applications and generic services employing dynamic management of resources and pay-per-use accounting. Application-specific technologies, which would restrict the potential end users base, will be avoided. Ten-Telecom/eTen IREMMA Integration of Regional Environment Monitoring and Management of Asthma.The project aims to establish a trans-European network, providing a wide range of services related to environmental diseases, Asthma and Allergy, such as Allergy forecasts, real time alert reports, telemedicine and tele-consulting via world wide web, sms and telematic technologies. Ten-Telecom/eTen MEDICATE Medical Diagnosis, Communications and Analysis Throughout Europe. MEDICATE is an innovative telemedicine project for monitoring asthma patients in their own homes. Asthma sufferers will use a portable monitoring device to record their breathing patterns and send the data via a modem and their normal telephone line to a central Disease Management System. The data is processed and results sent to the patient's consultant using a secure Internet connection. 1/01/1999 24
Ten-Telecom/eTen MEDISIGNAL A cost effective solution for remote monitoring, support and consultation in the health care sector. Ten-Telecom/eTen MEDSALUS Mediterranean Health Care Network .The project objective is to establish a Euro-ISDN value added network and to define an interoperability standard to enhance tele-collaboration among Mediterranean healthcare professionals and centres. From a reference Observatory, tele-Consultation, tele-Education and Tele-Information services are provided to and through Mediterranean countries, addressing health care information demand resources and diminishing inequalities. Ten-Telecom/eTen NETC@RDS Trans-European Access to Health Services for Mobile citizens .Netc@rds project will foster electronic e-forms large scale usage - i.e. e-111 for tourists, e-128 for students and posted workers- while health care would be provided by any Member-State hospital to any European health insured citizen. Ten-Telecom/eTen TELE-REMEDY Remote Diagnosis Management and Education in Congenital Heart Disease: A Cost Effective Telemedicine Solution Based on Euro-ISDN Technology .The goal of the project is the realisation of a feasibility study, commercial validation and large-scale deployment of trans-European telematics healthcare services based on real time, interactive Euro-ISDN technology for remote diagnosis, management, and education concerning congenital heart disease (CHD) . The services will be validated in 5 hospital centres in Greece, United Kingdom and Portugal. Ten-Telecom/eTen TEN-TELEMED Trans European Network for TELEMEDicine. The project consists of setting up a commercial TEN-TELEMED Service Organisation (TSO), linking European Centres of Excellence in various domains of medicine and providing services to hospitals, GPs, insurance companies and citizens. Main commercial and social objectives will foster: collaboration between medical centres, one-stop-shopping, access to European medical expertise within Europe with cross-border continuity of care also in less populated areas, EU expertise outside Europe to attract new customers for telemedicine services. The project, in its market validation phase, aims to take the crucial step towards making the Virtual Hospital an alternative way of delivering clinical services which has its space and recognition in the Health Care System. eHealth projects from the EUREKA Programme

EUREKA is a pan-European network for market-oriented, industrial R&D and it supports the competitiveness of European companies through international collaboration, in creating links and networks of innovation. The objective is to bring high quality research and development efforts to the market and to use the multiplying effects of co-operation. EUREKA offers a frame for co-operation to small and large companies alike and operates through its network of members from Iceland to Turkey, from Portugal to Russia.

Within the EUREKA programme, the ITEA programme supports coordinated national funding submissions for information technology. ITEA is a eight-year programme (1999 - 2007) and has established a prominent position in Europe's software landscape: 54 labelled projects, with more than 245 partners from 20 countries.

So far, these is only the NETCARE project identified with no further details.
