Ambient Intelligence (Fifth Framework Programme)

Data Telematics (Third Framework Programme)
Telematics refers to the broad industry related to using computers in concert with telecommunications systems. This includes dial-up services to the internet as well as numerous networks that rely on a telecommunications system and data.
Multimedia Telematics (Fourth Framework Programme)
The use of computers to present text, graphics, video, animation, and sound in an integrated way. Multimedia is available in virtually all new-generation PCs, though resolution quality differs depending on computer power and software. Telematics refers to the broad industry related to using computers in concert with telecommunications systems.
