Projects

What is a project?

At the IST Programme level, plans for each activity are detailed in a yearly work programme. This is organised around action lines to which the calls for proposals of future projects are linked.

IST provides specific support for individuals, businesses and public authorities interested in or involved in research and development in the area covered by Key Action 1: "Systems and Services for the Citizen". It also supports Cross-Programme Themes and technology projects spanning the entire Fifth Framework Programme.

IST Projects are summarised in the form of Fact Sheets, which can be located in several ways:

The work being done in Key Action 1 is built around a number of projects grouped into specific technical areas for their mutual benefit.
