What is a project?

At the IST Programme level, plans for each activity are detailed in a yearly work programme. This is organised around action lines to which the calls for proposals of future projects are linked.

IST provides specific support for individuals, businesses and public authorities interested in or involved in research and development affecting Key Action 3: Multimedia Content & Tools. It also believes in supporting Cross-Programme Themes and technology projects spanning the entire Fifth Framework Programme.

KA3 Projects

KA3 projects are summarised in the form of Fact Sheets, which can be located in several ways:

Action Lines

The work being done in Key Action 3 is built around several Action Lines, which focus on specific research activities in a variety of technical areas concerning multimedia content and tools.
