KnowledgeBoard 2.0
The European Knowledge and Capabilities Management Working Space

KnowledgeBoard is a Specific Support Action whose goal has been that of activating and facilitating the European KM community and of further developing it by including the different schools of thought in KM and all the European and global regions less represented today. It also looked to  turn the existing KnowledgeBoard into a model and reference for virtual networks offering customised services, collaboration space, and a supporting infrastructure to European research projects and industrial players.

Impact

KnowledgeBoard 2.0 wanted to be a community addressed to all KM researchers and practitioners at the European level. It took the shape of an open, inclusive community, which contributed to the creation of a critical mass of members and the right context to make Europe a leading player in the domain of advanced knowledge management.

KnowledgeBoard's main Innovation

As a Specific Support Action, innovation is not the main aim of KB20. Nonetheless, there are some remarkable, innovative results of the project: KB20 has established a reference model for virtual networks and collaboration spaces that are supported by the European Commission.
