Virtual Global Information Day on the 1st Call on e-Infrastructure (FP7/Capacities)

The European Commission, DG INFSO, Unit GÉANT & e-Infrastructure, organised a virtual information day to all world regions (Asia-Pacific, North Africa, Middle East, Latin America, USA and Canada) in the context of the planned launch of the first calls for proposals under the e-Infrastructures topic of the 'Capacities' Specific Programme, Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). The prime objective was to bring awareness to our international community (reaching not only the National Research and Education Networks but also the end-users) on the future calls and above all to increase their current participation in future projects.
