Policy workshop on deploying eInfrastructures in developing ("greenfield") regions by SEE-GRID
On 24th of November 2004 in Den Haag, NL, during the "European leadership in e-science and grids" week, the FP6 project SEE-GRID, with the support of the European Commission Information Society and Media Directorate-General Research Infrastructures unit and the FP6 project EGEE, organized a Policy Workshop with the theme "A roadmap for establishing National Grid Initiatives".
The main objective of the workshop was to address issues related to deploying eInfrastructures in developing ("greenfield") regions, and provide guidelines to all involved stakeholders for drafting their eInfrastructures' deployment strategy for their country/region.
