Infoday on Call 1 of the IST priority

12 March 2003
Building Charlemagne
Room S3
Rue de la Loi 170
1040 Brussels, Belgium

The "Trust and Security" unit of Directorate-General Information Society and Media of the European Commission is organising an Information Day on Call 1 of the IST Priority of the Sixth Framework Programme (2002-2006). This event will focus on the Strategic Objective of the 2003/04 IST Workprogramme Towards a global dependability and security framework.

The Information Day will take place on 12th March 2003, at the Charlemagne building, room S3, 170 rue de la Loi, Brussels. The programme includes a plenary session at which an overview of the Call 1 will be given, concrete guidance provided, followed by discussions with the Commission staff.

Time is set aside for attendees, and especially potential proposers, to discuss amongst themselves, present project ideas (based on a single transparency) and establish partnerships.

An estimated number of 200 attendees are expected amongst the main actors of the "Trust and Security" domain. Due to space limitations an early registration is strongly recommended and in any case not later than the 5th March 2003 . Please indicate in the registration form if you wish to make a short presentation of your ideas for a possible FP6 proposal.

Even if you are unable to participate to this event, by sending us your details and specific sub domain of interest, you will be guaranteed to receive the key conclusions of the meeting by 26th March 2003.
