Consultation Process Work Programme 2005/06
An open meeting was held in Brussels on 23 April 2004 to discuss the Work Programme 2005-2006 for the Strategic Objective "Improving Risk Management".

For the next phase of the consultation we welcome comments on the report of this meeting, especially from anyone who was unable to attend the meeting. Please send your comments by e-mail to Vinciane Williquet with the subject line "WP 2005/06 RISK". The closing date for receipt of comments is 13 June 2004.
We would like to remind you that this Strategic Objective will be principally focussed on GMES applications (Global Monitoring for the Environment and Security) dealing with natural and industrial risk, including slow changes to the environment. Security aspects of risk management (e.g. terrorist risk and homeland security), and theoretical research in risk science, are to be covered by other activities of the Commission and will not be included.
