1999 Annual Report on the Socio-economic Dimension of the Fifth Framework Programme
This report covers all thematic programmes of the Fifth Framework programme and describes the socio-economic dimension in terms of related activities carried out under each of these programmes. It is published on an annual basis by the Commission of the European Communities (under the co-ordination and overall responsibility of DG Research)

IST programme Integrated Programme Portfolio Analysis (IPPA) Report (May 2000)
The Integrated Programme Portfolio Analysis is a programme management tool that provides an overview of the portfolio of projects. It is updated following each call for proposals and is conducted by a group of external experts. A report on the findings of these experts is issued after each exercise and includes, in addition to observations, a list of posssible thematic groups of projects that could be of value to the programme.

Reports on activities in 2000

The IPPA Report following the third IST call for proposals (February 1999 - May 2000) will contain an analysis on the socio-economic aspects. The report is expected to be published in early 2001.
