Benchmarking

This Commission site is a point of reference for the wide range of benchmarking exercises currently in use in different EU policy areas. Central to the open method of co-ordination, benchmarking is now a tool of choice where policy-making responsibility is shared between EU, national and regional levels.

Enterprise Policy Scoreboard

The Enterprise Policy Scoreboard complements the Innovation Scoreboard, providing comparable data on the conditions for business activity across the EU, rather than simply for high-tech enterprises. The Scoreboard is part of an extensive benchmarking programme in the enterprise policy field, aimed at monitoring improvements in European competitiveness.

RINNO database

This database provides information on innovation policies designed and implemented at regional level. It allows regional policy-makers to share ideas and information, keep track of new initiatives and experiments.
