The latest European Innovation Scoreboard, published last December, includes data on the 13 candidate countries, ten of which are expected to join the European Union next May. Included in the Scoreboard for the first time, these data show that on several indicators the leading candidate countries are close to or above the EU average. |

IPR-Helpdesk on top of new programme |

Relaunched at the beginning of last year, the IPR-Helpdesk assists participants in the EU's Research Framework Programmes in understanding the provisions on intellectual property rights. This free service aims to promote the use of IPR, with the goal of fostering technology transfer in Europe. |
