A recent conference in Tallinn, jointly organised by the European Commission and the Estonian government, reviewed the implementation in the acceding and candidate countries of the European charter for small enterprises. This charter is fast becoming the basis for enterprise policy actions, recognising that small business is crucial to generating growth in the enlarged EU. |
