Combating Major Diseases
Application-orientated genomic approaches to medical knowledge and technologies
The strategic objective of this line is to integrate advanced genomic technologies into more established medical approaches for the prevention and management of human disease and for living and ageing healthily.
Funding is available for research on topics in the following four areas:
The emphasis will be on translating basic research into clinical applications.
The inclusion of SMEs in project consortia is highly encouraged.
