Via the hyperlink below you will find a table relating to the status of contract negotiations for the successful proposals as a result of the call for Early Stage Training projects with deadline of 15 December 2004.
Please note that the status relates to the date mentioned in the table and that this information will of course change as time passes by. The table is intended as an indication of the general status and will not be updated after each change, which would not be practical. It is our intention to update the table every fortnight until the end of the negotiation.
Please note that we are now in the process of negotiating a substantial number of contracts. As such, queries by individual contractors will inevitably slow down the contract production process. If your situation changed recently, then please do not contact the Commission Services but wait until the table is refreshed. The relevant entry should be updated then.
Please note that when the negotiation is finished, the negotiated project will be submitted for formal Commission approval. The date of this approval will be reported in the 'selection date' column. This is the legal point at which the negotiation ends. The contract will normally be produced just after this selection decision is made. At present the time span between the 'selection date' and the physical sending of the contract is approximately 4 weeks. It is also worth noting that once a selection decision has been made, you may start the project at the date indicated in the contract (even if this is before the contract signature date). The host organisation must of course be prepared to make a financial effort to cover the period between the project start date and the payment date of the initial pre financing (costs incurred in this period are eligible and can be charged to the contract later on).
