How to apply?

Incoming International Fellowships are available to researchers with the nationality of any third country (i.e. not an EU Member State or Associated State) with at least 4 years full-time research experience or a doctorate and wishing to spend a mobility period working in a host institution located in a Member State or Associated State. The researcher applies in liaison with the host institution (and with the re-integration host if there is a re-integration phase). Eligible host institutions are organisations active in research or research training (e.g. universities, research organisations, international organisations, enterprises, etc.).

A call for proposals was published on 20 July 2005 with a deadline of 18 January 2006.

This will be the last call for this action under the Sixth Framework Programme.

General information describing this action and the specific eligibility criteria in detail is available from the Marie Curie site on the Europa server and more specifically in the following documents:

In order to prepare a proposal you need to go to the relevant CORDIS call page and download the Guide for Proposers.

The vacancies for further members of the Excellence Team are advertised in international professional publications and via the CORDIS website.

Individual researchers interested in these positions should apply directly to the host organisation.

Further advice and assistance can be obtained from your National Contact Point. (In 'NCP field' select "Mobility"), and from the EURAXESS Services, the European Network of Service Centres.
