You are here: Homepage | Marie Curie Conferences and Training Courses (SCF/LCF)
The Marie Curie Conferences & Training Courses aim to provide short-term training opportunities to allow researchers to network and keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in their field. The action is targeted primarily at early-stage researchers and researchers with up to 10 years of experience.
Funding is provided for either a 'series of events' (SCF) or 'large conferences' (LCF). Note, however, that no further calls are foreseen for 'large conferences' at this stage. A series of events is defined as at least four training events (schools, practical training courses, conferences, etc.), whereas a large conference is a one-off world-class scientific or technological event.
The EU support is used to cover the costs related to the participation of researchers in the events. In addition, funding is provided to cover part of the organisational expenses for series of events.
