What is Technology Marketplace?
Technology Marketplace is a free on line service where you can find research and technological development results and search for innovative business opportunities on emerging technologies.
Technology Marketplace includes:
- All exploitable research results stored in the Results Service
- A showcase of best results displayed as technology offers
- Additional information on innovation news, events, useful links, local support.
What is the Results Service?
The Results Service publishes information about exploitable results of research and development in a wide range of fields. The information can stem from:
- public and private sector organizations
- EU and non EU funded research (regional, national, etc).

The content of this database is in English. Where other documentation is cited, the document language is specified.
Recent/Archived Results:
Recent results are:
- less than one year old
- more than one year old and updated or revalidated by their owner/exploiter (i.e. declared to be still exploitable from third parties after one year).
- more than one year old and not revalidated by their owner/exploiter.

How to submit your research results?Organizations can submit their exploitable results by filling in the on line form. Exploitable results are published after a quality assessment by CORDIS.
What is a technology offer?All research results submitted to the Results Service are assessed to reveal their exploitation potential and the top ones are selected for presentation as technology offers through a user-friendly and multimedia format. They are all re-written in a newsy journalistic style by CORDIS Editors and they may include images, illustrations diagrams or video.
All offers are classified into:
Three areas, according to offers' marketability and closeness to market.
Areas are:
- Business: The offer is close to exploitation/ has a prototype developed, is ready for market.
- Science: The offer is at the research and development stage, is highly scientific in nature and has exploitable potential to a very selective/specialized market.
- Society: The offer is mostly involved with concerns/issues that affect society at large, may cover areas that Business/Science do not cover.

- Industrial Technologies.

The Boolean operators "AND", "OR" and "NOT" may be combined with search terms in the text boxes. If two or more terms are entered with either a comma or a space separating them, the default operator will be "AND".
Phrase searches should be put in double quotes (e.g. "License Agreement").
Wildcards ('?' for 1 character, or '*' for multiple characters) may be used within terms or to truncate word endings (e.g. 'parasit*'; 'analy?e').
