15 Ways to Measure and Manage Business Impacts on Sustainable Development

The GLOBAL VALUE consortium tested 15 impact measurement tools together with three multinationals operating in developing countries – Bata, Mondi and Olam International. Practical insights into what benefits each tool can bring and what challenges companies face when measuring their impacts on sustainable development are the subject of a series of 15 showcases now available online.

226 tools were collected by GLOBAL VALUE, all helping businesses measure and manage their impacts. The GLOBAL VALUE consortium tested 15 of these tools together with three multinationals operating in developing countries – Bata (footwear), Mondi (pulp and paper) and Olam International (Food and agriculture). Practical insights into what benefits each tool can bring, what challenges companies face and how each tool can help multinational companies advance in measuring and managing business impacts on sustainable development is now brought to you in a series of 15 GLOBAL VALUE tool showcases. The first two two showcases take a closer look at B Lab's B Impact Assessment and the Quick Human Rights Compliance Assessment by the Danish Institute for Human Rights. More tool showcases will be launched regularly at www.global-value.eu/toolkit as we approach the GLOBAL VALUE virtual launch! More info: https://www.global-value.eu/toolkit/
