The European Commission has published a call for proposals for the SME initiative on Analytics. It is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). The call will help European SMEs acquire the competences and resources they need to develop innovative content and data analytics services. Part of the ICT theme's challenge 4, which focuses on new technologies for digital content and languages, it encompasses three topics: - an integrated open data incubator based on input from SMEs, aiming to establish a positive environment for efficient and small-scale development of commercial interests; - easier transfer and take-up of language technologies, for market-oriented projects in areas such as web or enterprise intelligence, social media analytics and sentiment analysis, enterprise search and content management, online and cloud-based translation, etc; - software components and intuitive end user applications based on the re-use of open data, in particular from public bodies.To see the official call announcement, please consult: Participant portal To see partnership requests for this call, please consult: CORDIS Partners Service
