The proceedings of the SAMO'95 symposium, on the theory and applications of sensitivity analysis of model output in computer simulation, have now been published. SAMO'95 took place in Belgirate, Italy, on 25-27 September 1995. The symposium was organized by the European Commission (DG XII/F) and the Environment Institute of the Joint Research Centre in the framework of its Radioactive Waste programme. The aim of the symposium was to bring together people from different disciplines involved in practical and theoretical aspects of sensitivity analysis of model output (SAMO) and to review the present state of the art. The proceedings comprise a series of extended abstracts on sensitivity analysis in fields such as chemical kinetics, economics, nuclear safety and safeguarding, environmental sciences, risk analysis, mechanical engineering, and decision theory.
