The European Commission, DG XII, has published an invitation to tender for assistance in the follow-up of cooperative research projects (CRAFT). Within the framework of the Community's programme of technological stimulation for SMEs, the European Commission is looking for service providers to assist in the follow-up of cooperative research projects (CRAFT). The contract to be awarded is divided into 21 lots and 95 sub-lots corresponding to the following specific fields: - Lot 1) Production technologies (five sub-lots); - Lot 2) Technological equipment for product innovation (four sub-lots); - Lot 3) Air transport technologies (six sub-lots); - Lot 4) Land transport technologies (six sub-lots); - Lot 5) Measures for European products of quality (four sub-lots); - Lot 6) Research of standards and technical support for trade (three sub-lots); - Lot 7) Social service measures (four sub-lots); - Lot 8) Strategies for research, development, demonstration and distribution of energy (six sub-lots); - Lot 9) Rational use of energy (four sub-lots); - Lot 10) Renewable energy (eight sub-lots); - Lot 11) Fossil fuels (five sub-lots); - Lot 12) Distribution of energy technologies (no sub-lots); - Lot 13) Integrated production and processing chains (three sub-lots); - Lot 14) General science and advanced technologies for food (two sub-lots); - Lot 15) Agriculture, sylviculture and rural development (six sub-lots); - Lot 16) Fishing and aquaculture (five sub-lots); - Lot 17) Research on the natural environment, quality of environment and global change (two sub-lots); - Lot 18) Environmental technologies (three sub-lots); - Lot 19) Spatial techniques applied to environmental observation and research (three sub-lots); - Lot 20) Human dimension of environmental changes (four sub-lots); - Lot 21) Biomedicine and health (12 sub-lots). Contracts will be for a 30-month period, from their signing by both parties, renewable for one further period of 30 months. The workload is variable from one lot to another. The estimated workload for each lot is indicated in the relevant tender documents which are available on request.
