research*eu magazine is the European Union research magazine, written by independent professional journalists, which aims to broaden the democratic debate between science and society. It presents and analyses projects, results and initiatives through which men and women are making a contribution towards scientific and technological excellence in Europe. Published in English, French, German and Spanish, with ten issues per year, research*eu magazine is edited by the Communication Unit of the European Commission’s Research DG.

results supplement cover

The research*eu results supplement features highlights from the latest technology offers and project news disseminated on the CORDIS Technology Marketplace and on the ICT Results Service. Published 10 times per year in English, it provides regular updates on the research conducted by EU-funded projects, with a specific emphasis on the market-ready, exploitable technologies they have developed. The coverage ranges from biology and medicine, energy and environmental issues to IT and telecommunications as well as industrial processes.

research-eu focus cover

research*eu focus is a magazine supplement, with each issue covering a specific topic of interest to researchers, policy-makers and other stakeholders in the research field. It features articles on EU policies, initiatives, programmes and projects related to research and technological development and their exploitation for the benefit of citizens. It is published by CORDIS at irregular intervals and usually in English. Exceptionally, it may be available in other European languages as well.

CORDIS focus has brought updates on EU-funded research for more than 14 years. The monthly newsletter provided readers with the latest reports on research policy, both at EU level and around Europe. It also featured regular supplements on the profiles and results of some of Europe’s most exciting research projects and on specific topics of interest to researchers, policy-makers and other stakeholders in the area.
To simplify access to research news and scientific results, since January 2008 the CORDIS focus magazines have been integrated into the research*eu family of publications.
