Q&A: Enhancing cooperation between industry and neutron facilities
The SINE2020 Industry Consultancy initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between European Industry and neutron facilities by offering free test measurements and feasibility studies to companies from the EU. Funded by the European Union through H2020, SINE2020 offers free test neutron measurements to industrial companies based in Europe. Towards the better forecasting of destructive dust storms
Researchers examining the causes of the record dust storm that affected the Middle East and Cypus in 2015, identified erosion as one key factor, a problem that the war in Syria and Iraq is making more acute. However, although record-breaking, the storm was not forecast – such events remain hard to predict.

Naukowcy analizujący przyczyny rekordowej burzy pyłowej, która nawiedziła Bliski Wschód i Cypr w 2015 r., wskazali na jeden kluczowy czynnik, który nasila wojna tocząca się w Syrii i Iraku.
