Neutrons for Industry: SINE2020 “Industry Consultancy” work package aims at increasing industrial use of European neutron sources
Started in October 2015, the H2020 project SINE2020 will create an innovation-friendly environment around European neutron sources to tackle societal challenges by coupling research and innovation. Analytical techniques, like provided at neutron sources, are the basis of understanding how materials and processes work and essential for innovation in a knowledge-based approach. The work package "Industry Consultancy" will strengthen cooperation between European industry and neutron facilities.

Se dice que pasar demasiado tiempo con el teléfono móvil puede resultar perjudicial para el desarrollo cerebral e incluso provocar daños en el cuello. No obstante, absténgase de tirarlo a la papelera. Un proyecto financiado por la UE está mejorando la reputación sanitaria de los móviles al desarrollar Sniffphone, un módulo capaz de analizar el aliento del usuario para detectar hasta diecisiete enfermedades.

It has been said that spending too much time on a smartphone can negatively impact brain development or even cause damage to the neck. But don’t toss yours in the bin just yet. An EU-funded project is working on smartphones’ health cred by developing ‘Sniffphone’ - a module capable of analysing the user’s breath to detect as many as 17 diseases.

Un projet financé par l'UE s'est fixé pour mission de créer une application médicale pour smartphones, en développant «Sniffphone» - un module capable d'analyser l'haleine de l'utilisateur pour détecter 17 maladies.

Słyszy się, że zbyt intensywne korzystanie ze smartfona może negatywnie wpływać na rozwój mózgu a nawet spowodować uszkodzenie szyi. Jednak nie wyrzucajmy go do kosza. Dofinansowany ze środków unijnych projekt ma podnieść wiarygodność zdrowotną smartfonów poprzez opracowanie „Węchofona” – modułu, który będzie w stanie analizować powietrze wydychane przez użytkownika i wykrywać nawet 17 różnych chorób.

Un progetto finanziato dall’UE sta lavorando sulla reputazione degli smartphone per quanto riguarda la salute sviluppando “Sniffphone” – un modulo in grado di analizzare il fiato dell’utente per rilevare fino a 17 malattie diverse.
