Abstract:
The Renewable Energy Conference which took place in Beijing 18-19 September 1997 was jointly funded by DGXVII INCO programme and the Chinese State Science and Technology Commission, Department of International Cooperation. The conference objectives were to promote EU technologies, and transfer of expertise to China, and to provide greater nderstanding of the legislative, technical and financial framework for market penetration for RETs in China. Summaries and/or concluding remarks from all papers presented at the conference are included in these proceedings.
