IMPLEMENTING RENEWABLE ENERGY IN THE 21ST CENTURY : The Campaign for Take-off

26-27 May 1999, RAI Congress Forum, Amsterdam

This conference will launch the EU's 'Campaign for Take-Of'f': a campaign which aims to double the share of RES to overall energy consumption from 6-12% by 2010. The European Commission will establish the framework, provide some financial and technical assistance, and coordinate actions. Both public and private sector contributios will also be needed to realise these ambitious objectives.

The conference is being organised within the framework of SUSTAIN : The World Sustainable Energy Fair, Amsterdam, 25-27 May 1999.
