Anything Artificial Intelligence related. Primarily interested in developing innovative software systems, but with a strong research component. I have a lot of experience working on previous EU projects, both on the research and the programming side of things (R&D).

Recently more experience with project management, where I now manage my own software projects. Also strong in writing technical reports / papers, and general admin and day-to-day management of activities.

• Lots of experience in research, software engineering (design and development) and (technical) writing.
• Main programming languages are Java and C#.
• Primarily Windows-based environment, with some experience of Linux.
• Main research areas of interest – Artificial Intelligence (especially autonomous/agent-based or neural systems, search or query processes), distributed information systems and scheduling/optimisation.
• Most programming experience with server-side data processing, algorithm development, or windows-based GUI development.
• Internet programming includes XML, Web Services, servers, distributed communication, ASP.Net, HTML and JavaScript.
• Web site development experience.

Small-scale projects preferred. I have a distributed service-based framework for developing AI-related systems on. So there is potential there to build a real system or to test certain theories.
