Open discussing during the launch seminar of the European Day of the Entrepreneur
During the opening of the seminar Mr Zourek said: Raising awareness of entrepreneurship is becoming a social demand since it is a key element contributing to raise competitiveness in Europe. The European Day of Entrepreneur will not only help raise awareness of entrepreneurship but also provides an opportunity for many to learn from experience and good practice such as developed here in Barcelona.
The European Day of the Entrepreneur is intended to become a major European event supporting entrepreneurship among many potential and actual entrepreneurs, policy makers and support organisations. The cities involved in the initiative will benefit from mutual learning on the basis of a common methodology, a higher impact due to the synergy of the local events and close work with the European Commission on policies supporting entrepreneurship and innovation.
