The START Network

Five regions have joint forces to form the START network - Edinburgh, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Vienna Region and Veneto Region all strongly committed to innovation and R&D. Edinburgh is represented by the Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothian, a national economic development agency dealing with innovation and growth within the region. Copenhagen is represented by Copenhagen Capacity, an association supporting the regions commercial development and contributing to strengthen the international commerce and economic growth of Greater Copenhagen. Hamburg is represented by the IZET Innovation Centre, a technology park focusing on technology transfer and start-up consultancy. The Region of Vienna collaborates with the Vienna Business Agency and the Department of Economic Development of Lower Austria, which also represents the Vienna Region and Veneto Region is represented by Veneto Innovazione, a company promoting the Network for Science and Technology programme.
