Taking the pulse of European enterprise innovation
Enterprise Europe, Brussels, 26 October 2004 - Encouraged by the so far very promising results of two ongoing innovation initiatives, namely PAXIS and Gate2Growth, the European Commission today launched three new actions supporting the innovation efforts of European enterprises. Potential participants are invited to attend an information day in Brussels on 15 November 2004.
The three new actions were launched through a Call for Proposals (FP6-2004-INNOV-6) under the Sixth Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP6). Their objective is to facilitate networking activities of innovative companies and to learn from the most innovative regions how to improve policies in support of sectoral innovation clusters. To further promote innovation at sectoral level, the third action is aiming at the identification of potential barriers to innovation and a better understanding of entrepreneurial innovation processes.
Further information and supporting documentation can be downloaded from the Cordis website: cordis.europa.eu/fp6/innovation.htm
The proposals must be submitted by 27 January 2005.
The information day for this call for proposals takes place at the Centre Albert Borschette, Rue Froissart 36, Brussels on 15 November 2004. It targets all potential applicants that might have specific questions about the actions proposed. Click here to download the programme and the registration form.
