Bird strike - Erosion resistant and fast maintainable windshields A complete set of lightweight windshields for the Fast Rotorcraft has to be developed, manufactured and tested. This encompasses both sides of the front area as far as the upper pilot- and the lower- windshields. It is an opportunity to develop a lightweight innovative windshield fulfilling the requirement of a non-pressurized high speed rotorcraft aircraft (bird strike resistant, low drag, compatible with water repellent treatment…)
